Cape Cod Calendula Salve

Cape Cod Calendula Salve is made with organic dried calendula flowers that are grown in our garden. By now we have hundreds of self seeding plants that return every year- and we also start some under lights early spring. Those have later been infused in organic Jojoba oil. Jojoba is a great light option that does not clog pores, and assists with dryness. It also contains premium, and raw Shea Butter made in Ghana (Black owned), unrefined beeswax, and organic frankincense resin. Vegan option available upon request.
**All ingredients are especially good for skin conditions like: eczema, psoriasis, dryness, acne, & chapped skin. May be helpful to woman who have had c-sections, by applying to incision to speed up scarring process, assist with inflammation of skin tissue, and soreness.
**Calendula is considered anti fungal, anti inflammatory, & anti bacterial. It is often a main ingredient found in diaper rash ointments, and many beauty care products. Well known for skin wound repair, it can also be found in topical medications.
Calendula also contains fatty acids that help to moisturize skin, as well as the ability to tighten skin to prevent the appearance of skin aging.
Use: Apply a thin layer to area of skin in need with clean hands. Store in a cool area, avoiding heat. Please discontinue use if a rash appears, or you have a reaction to product. Depending on the time of year the texture and consistency may vary. It will be more solid in the summer months to prevent from melting, and a little softer in the winter months to keep it from hardening too much. Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid melting, and don’t expose to freezing temperatures or it will solidify.
